Main Duties & Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for visually inspecting and packaging product to be in compliance with customer requirements.
The Machine Operator must perform all duties in accordance with Intertech’s ISO Quality Management System and strictly adhere to production processes and procedures.
The manufacturing area is a controlled environment requiring Machine Operators to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment such as lab coats, hair nets, and latex gloves) at all times.
We have the following shifts available :
Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday 5 : 40pm - 6 : 00am
M - F 11 : 00pm - 7 : 00am
Performance Accountability :
- Safety / Cleanliness (Proper use of PPE and appropriate attire for particulate control as required)
- Training Compliance and adherence to production processes and procedures
- Quality and workmanship
- Performance - Adherence to cycle time standards
- Attendance
- Housekeeping
Key Responsibilities :
- Visually inspect and package product in accordance with documented specifications
- Complete and maintain accurate production records and paperwork
- Accurately record scrap hourly
- Communicate defects and production issues with supervisor
- Perform sub-assembly operations
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Additional duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications :
- Previous experience working in an ISO controlled environment preferred
- Previous injection molding or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to comprehend and follow visual,written, and verbal instructions
- Manual dexterity required to handle, sort, assemble, and / or package small parts
- Detail oriented
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to align to organizational values
