We are looking for a Mechanical Designer / CAD Operator with Electrical knowledge to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. This is a full time in-office position.

Responsibilities :

• Drafting / using Autodesk Inventor 2022 to design Food Service / Kitchen Equipment type products.
• Estimating / quoting a variety of Food Service / Kitchen type products.
• Work with Sales and Customers in the Food Service Industry on designs, specifications and prototypes to suit their application needs.

Requirements :

• Relevant degree preferred. Extensive on-the-job experience in a similar environment may substitute for formal education.
• Experience with equipment used to cut, bend, join and finish ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Knowledge of the Food Service Industry Equipment required.
• Two years of quoting / estimating and drafting preferred.
• Two years of Autodesk Inventor 2022 / AutoCAD or equivalent experience required.
• AS-400 experience preferred. Proficiency with other ERP packages may be considered.
• Generalist approach to the field with a willingness to research and execute projects with a very "hands-on approach.
• Work with personnel at all levels of the organization in a diplomatic yet assertive way in order to achieve the solutions that are best for the Company.
• Monitor product documentation for accuracy and make necessary corrective actions.

Physical Requirements :

• Able to work in a typical office environment.
• Must be able to work on the shop / warehouse floor and follow Winholt’s requirements for the use of PPE.
• Able to sit, stoop, bend, crouch, sit, stand, walk, and carry.
