What We're Looking For :
- Experience : Minimum of three years of current experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit (must have worked within the last six months).
- Skills :
- Expert in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric problems.
- Proficient in de-escalation techniques.
- Strong team player, working alongside other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Your Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate the mental health needs of patients.
- Facilitate and conduct contraband searches to ensure a safe environment.
- Monitor and conduct timely evaluations of the mental health environment of care.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and provide psychotherapy services.
- Coordinate with families, doctors, and other health professionals.
- Administer medications accurately and safely.
Minimum Education :
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or a related field is highly preferred.
Shift :
