Environmental Service Laundry Assistant

Full Time Days, Including Every Other Weekend

Pay rate starting at $16.10 / hour!

Requirements for an Environmental Service Laundry Assistant :

High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities for an Environmental Service Laundry Assistant :

• Collects and distributes laundry to units, physical therapy.
• Washes, dries, irons, spot removal and labels, when necessary, personal laundry for Members.
• Washes, dries, and irons linen for units.
• Keeps records on laundry processed and distribution.
• Maintains laundry area and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Duties may also include performing housekeeping duties in assigned areas : for example, maintaining Member rooms and / or areas in an aseptic condition.
• Participates in in-service education and safety programs.
• Performs other duties as required by supervisor or by Administration from time to time.
