Description SDi is seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our company as a full-time permanent employee. The successful candidate will participate in Sentient Digital Inc.
s FIT program (Foundational IT Training), an 8-12 week curriculum focused on the implementation and maintenance of Cisco network systems.
As part of this great opportunity, you will be paid to prepare for the CompTIA Security+ certification and sponsored for Secret security clearance.
Once you have earned your Security+ certification and completed your training path, you will join our Network Operations team to support our clients with their network infrastructure needs.
As an Entry-Level Associate Network Administrator, you will be capable of installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Cisco networks, as well as educating end-users on Cisco networking products.

The salary range for this role is between $35,000 and $55,000, commensurate with education and experience. Additionally, this program has a guaranteed pay scale that rewards candidates for professional growth and gaining experience.
Responsibilities Assist with the design, installation, and configuration of network communications systems under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Help provide specifications and contribute to the creation of network architecture schematics. Support cost / benefit analyses to select appropriate hardware and software that meet both current and future business needs.
Participate in the testing and validation of network designs to ensure functionality and security. Monitor network hardware operations to ensure correct configurations are maintained.
Assist with the implementation of network enhancements and upgrades. Provide support and guidance to network users regarding hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.
Continuously learn and maintain familiarity with emerging networking technologies and hardware / software interfaces, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways.
Support the troubleshooting of network issues to ensure continuous, quality connectivity. Help with the documentation of network setups and configurations.
Develop and maintain technical skills and knowledge in key areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing.
Assist in evaluating and reporting on new communication technologies to enhance network capabilities. Required Qualifications Ability to obtain Security Clearance in first six monthsNo prior IT certification or experience is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong desire and eagerness to learn about computer networking, with a focus on continuous professional development.
Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions.Attention to detail.Must be able to lift up to 25 Lbs. Desired Qualifications Previous technical experience or familiarity with Cisco products and related network technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to follow detailed instructions. Degree or Study in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Engineering, or related fields is helpful, but not mandatory.
