Project Engineer - Heavy Highway and Bridge

Our client, a prominent General Engineering Contractor specializing in Heavy Highway and Bridge Construction , is actively seeking a skilled Project Engineer for their team in Northern California.

Duties :

  • Assist estimators in bid preparation, contributing to the development of accurate and comprehensive project estimates.
  • Support project managers in project administration tasks, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Aid superintendents in planning and tracking activities, facilitating efficient project progress.
  • Contribute to procurement and engineering processes to meet project requirements.

Requirements :

  • Minimum Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, even under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and the ability to learn other application software.

Additional Desired Skills :

  • Proficiency with Spectrum (formerly Dexter + Chaney) Accounting Software, Bid 2 Win Estimating and Tracking Software, Heavy Job, Primavera Scheduling Software, and Agtek Takeoff Software.
  • Safety Training, First Aid, and CPR certification.
  • SWPPP Training.
