Summary
Operate and manage forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into areas for shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operate sit-down forklift to move pipe throughout warehouse.
- Unloading, loading, shipping and receiving materials and merchandise for incoming or outgoing shipments.
- Securing loads of pipe to machine before transportation.
- Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.
Education and / or Experience
High School Diploma or GED; 1-2 years related experience or training. Forklift certification is a plus.
Other Requirements
- Pre-employment drug screen required.
- Willingness to learn and following instructions.
- May require overtime.
