CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER :

Portrait Construction, Inc., a General Contractor in Corona, California is seeking an energetic, experienced professional to assist Project Managers in all phases of the construction of large multi-family apartment projects. This position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills along with computer and multi-tasking skills.  This is an in-office position, and candidates must be able to work on-site at our Corona location with occasional travel to job sites.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in construction project coordination, project engineering, or a related role within the construction or design industry (e.g., architectural, engineering, or consulting firms).

REQUIRED TASKS :

  • Assist in coordinating the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors superintendents and laborers.
  • Ensure project documents are complete.
  • Processing of RFI’s (requests for information) sent to project architects.
  • Preparing material submittals.
  • Provide scheduling support to assigned projects.
  • Assist with processing change orders / purchase orders.
  • Process & prepare meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Organizing and maintaining a library of project documents.
  • Other project duties as required by the Project Manager.
  • Light travel to project site may be required.

    • REQUIRED SKILLS :

  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
  • ProCore, Blue Beam and Timberline experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of principles, practices, and codes
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
