Come join our Watercraft Inspection team at WaterfrontRestoration as a level 2 Watercraft Inspector on Christmas Lake.
We are NOW hiring for our 2022 positions! This is a great job for students, teachers and people ages 55+
You'll be partof a growing effort across the state to prevent the spread of invasive species.Once you complete the DNR provided level 1 and 2 training, you will be ready tostart right away inspecting and decontaminating boats coming in and leaving thelake.
You'll communicate the importance of the program and make a differencewhile working in the best spot in Minnesota, on the waterfront!

Part Time Positions with 16 to 40 hrs / week includingon-duty and on-call shifts. Part-time supervisory responsibilities may also beavailable.
Duties :
- Educate the public on the AIS program and currentissues.
- Distribute literature / pamphlets.
- Inspection of watercraft for invasive species (inboundand outbound).
- Conduct verbal surveys.
- Documentation of inspection activities.
- Maintain current knowledge of best practices whileinspecting watercraft and decontaminating watercraft.
Qualifications :
- Verbal communication and customer relationsexperience.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a professionalsetting.
- Willingness to work odd hours and in adverse weather.
- Requires walking, standing, and moving about the boat launch area to a significant degree depending on traffic.
Compensation
$13 - $17 Hourly Base Wage (Depending on Qualifications) + Monthly Performance Bonus
