Job Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Generalist with a strong background in employee relations for a temporary position starting in November and ending in March .

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of HR activities, including employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, and policy development.

This role will act as a key advisor to employees and managers, providing support in resolving complex workplace issues while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Employee Relations :
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.

Investigate and resolve complaints in a fair and consistent manner.

  • Performance Management :
  • Partner with managers to provide coaching and support on performance management, including employee evaluations, goal setting, and feedback discussions.
  • Policy Development & Compliance :
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing HR policies and procedures. Ensure the company’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO, FMLA, FLSA, and other regulations.
  • HR Strategy & Programs :
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to execute company-wide HR initiatives, including employee engagement programs, diversity & inclusion strategies, and talent development.
  • Training & Development :
  • Identify employee training needs and support the development and facilitation of HR-related training programs, including conflict resolution, harassment prevention, and performance improvement.
  • Compensation & Benefits :
  • Assist in the administration of compensation programs, including salary reviews and benefits administration. Provide guidance to employees on benefits and compensation-related inquiries.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting :
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement. Prepare regular reports on employee relations issues, turnover, and other HR activities.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding :
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes. Conduct exit interviews and use feedback to improve employee retention and satisfaction.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations .
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, EEO, ADA).
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
