About The Position
Job Title : Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty : CT - Radiology Job Duration : 12 months Shift : 12H Evenings, 12 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM, rotating schedule (2 on, 2 off - 5 on, 5 off) with required on-call Guaranteed Hours : 72 hours per two weeks Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Texas MRT Certifications : BLS, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Must-Have : Experience in ER and inpatient settings Job Description : Conduct CT scans both with and without contrast.
- Operate GE CT scanners and ensure accurate imaging.- Prepare patients for procedures and start IVs as needed.- Handle an average of 16-24 scans per day.
- Utilize Meditech EMR and Fuji PACS for imaging documentation.- Collaborate with daytime in-house radiologists and utilize virtual radiology support during night hours.
- Work every other weekend and rotate holiday shifts with permanent staff.- Engage in department-specific orientation.- Adhere to the on-call policy with a 30-minute response time;
you will serve as a backup when needed.- Wear black scrubs (not provided).- Floating between units is not required.- Participate in a hospital cancellation policy, allowing up to three cancellations per contract.
This position offers a unique schedule, allowing for a balanced work-life rotation and the opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care setting.
