Job Description :
- Administer care to laboring mothers, providing support and guidance throughout the childbirth process
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized patient care plans
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current certifications and competencies
- Complete onsite orientation modules, typically averaging 4-6 hours for RNs
- Comply with all credentialing and compliance requirements before starting the assignment
