As a Front Desk teammate at Fitness Connection, you will directly impact the experience of our Club Members and Guests every single day! Your Day to Day Responsibilities
Front Desk Hospitality :
Connect with Members and Guests as a top priority, ensuring everyone receives an EPIC greeting and a genuine farewell.
Engage all Members / Guests with welcoming interactions. Check each member into the gym using proper procedures. Register all guests with accurate procedures.
Answer the telephone promptly with appropriate Fitness Connection language. Assist in routing Telephone Inquiries (TI) appropriately.
Direct guests and appointments to the appropriate Fitness Consultant in a prompt, professional manner. Serve as the initial point of contact and communication hub.
ProShop Pro :
Promote and sell drinks, bars, supplements, and merchandise. Meet or exceed daily and monthly ProShop goals. Stock and organize retail offerings as needed.
Learn about consumable and retail products sold at the location. Ensure ProShop area is maintained and monitored throughout the shift.
Accurately use POS and money handling procedures.
Member & Club Services :
Complete Member & Guest check-ins and handle basic Member account inquiries. Monitor check-ins to identify delinquent accounts and collect balances.
Update Member information and escalate issues to club management when needed. Maintain the neatness of the front desk and entryway.
Perform opening and closing duties as required. Conduct regular club cleaning routines. Report any incidents in a timely manner.
Maintain positive relationships with the entire club team. Support other teammates in achieving their goals. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED preferred.
- Previous experience in Hospitality / Customer Service preferred.
- Ability to understand, follow, and communicate verbal and written instructions.
- Must be fluent in verbal and written English; additional language skills a plus.
- Physical demands include various physical activities like bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
