Transportation Supervisor
As a Transportation Supervisor at Daniels Health, you'll play a vital role in managing logistics that directly support frontline healthcare workers. This first-shift position at our Daniels medical waste treatment facility in Shakopee, MN, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

What will your job involve?
- Provide daily pre-departure support including truck loading, manifest checks, transporter quality checks, and weekly tailgate safety meetings
- Monitor and support driver routing to maximize productivity and address any route-related issues
- Maintain strong communication between plant operations, sales, and field service teams
- Conduct daily route debriefs to resolve service issues and improve customer satisfaction
- Manage driver performance, conduct evaluations, and support ongoing development
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and resolve equipment issues to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure driver compliance with safety regulations and perform quality checks on all loaded / unloaded products
- Control operational costs by managing headcount, limiting overtime, and optimizing driver performance
- Must be able to drive box trucks and cover routes as needed to maintain service continuity
What are we looking for?
Must have 24+ months of verifiable commercial driving experience, including recently having run a routeStrong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with the public3+ years in a management or supervisory roleClean 10-year DMV record (dated within the last 30 days)Valid DOT medical certificate (or ability to obtain one)Knowledge of DOT regulations, log books, and safe cargo handling practiceAbility to work weekends, holidays, or flex hours based on operational needsMust be able to reliably commute to our Orlando PlantNice to have CDLExperience driving in healthcare, food & beverage, or retail industriesExperience with routing and dispatch software (e.g., Samsara, Omnitracs, or similar systems) highly preferredWhy work for us?
