About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technologist Job Specialty : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8-hour days plus call Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Yes, required to submit Certifications : BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Verification Must-Have : Competency in neuro-trauma call and cranial procedures- Experience with total joint and level II trauma- Ability to scrub Job Description : Operate efficiently in a 10-room operating suite handling 23 cases daily, including general, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries.
Must possess strong experience in orthopedic procedures and some experience in spinal surgeries.- Flexibility in scheduling is essential;
candidates must be willing to float and adapt to varying shifts.- The role involves rotating call duty, inclusive of nights and weekends.
- Experience with Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR is beneficial but not mandatory.- Orientation includes 12 hours for acclimatization.
- Work closely with the team to ensure seamless and safe surgical procedures within an accredited chest pain center and level 2 trauma center.
- Engage in an environment ranked among the top hospitals statewide, contributing to the high standards of patient care.
