We're currently seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team.
Location : Palos Park, IL, is a serene village known for its lush landscapes, equestrian culture, and tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful suburban retreat near Chicago.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in conducting assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Support the implementation of customized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to support student progress and participation in school activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications :
- Hold an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program.
- Possess certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Clinical experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
