This position reports to

Service Business Process Manager

Your role and responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed.

You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education / employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is : onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business. You will be mainly accountable for :

• Collaborate with Global Product Managers to improve the quality of product master data, using analytical skills to identify and address discrepancies and inaccuracies.
• Work with Global Product Managers and local colleagues to unify local material definitions, analyzing and reconciling local material data with master data.
• Evaluate product data quality, focusing on product lines, and establish connections between product lines, PGs, and product codes to ensure organizational consistency.
• Monitor the data governance app to ensure P&M data accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving data errors and duplicates using BI tools.
• Work with teams across different hubs to align master data practices and engage with internal stakeholders globally.
• Document processes, issues, and resolutions, and generate reports using PowerBI to support decision-making.

Qualifications for the role

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, in the United States.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
