Responsibilities

As the Medical Pod Leader, you will be the clinical leader responsible for the performance of your clinical pod team. Your role will include :

  • Acting as the on-site supervising Physician for assigned APPs and Physicians.
  • Collaborating with a diverse clinical team, including Community Health Workers, Medical Social Workers, and Care Managers.
  • Leading high-risk huddles and ensuring comprehensive care plans are documented.
  • Conducting chart audits and participating in patient care for complex cases.
  • Reviewing quality metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Supporting clinical team members with patient care questions and concerns.
  • Participating in clinical education regarding chronic conditions.
  • Managing performance reviews and disciplinary actions for direct reports.

  • QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Active CPR Certification
  • Active Medical License
  • Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 1 year of experience at HarmonyCares Medical Group
  • Board Certification
  • Pay Transparency
