Job Description

Cetera Financial Group (CFG) is seeking a Senior Advisor Marketing Specialist - SigniFI Elite Advisor Brands who will be responsible for leading brand research and integrated, strategic marketing campaigns with an emphasis on illustrating return-on-investment for all advisory firms in their care.

  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with 5-7 member firms so they come to trust, value, and rely on our input and expertise.
  • Remain in regular communication with all assigned advisors - proactively offering ideas and solutions to achieve their business goals.
  • Lead brand research and strategic planning projects for assigned advisors in conjunction with the director of SigniFI.
  • Develop target personas for marketing efforts and represent the voice of the consumer in advisor communications.
  • Oversee the implementation of marketing plans according to advisors' brand standards and approved strategies; address and resolve any inconsistencies with Avantax's marketing and compliance standards and requirements.
  • Write and edit blogs, emails, newsletters, social media posts, and other technical marketing copy.
  • Facilitate media outreach and event planning projects according to advisors' strategies.
  • Continuously grow in the knowledge of digital marketing tactics such as social media, search engine optimization, and inbound marketing.
  • Onboard, train, and mentor new marketing team members as instructed.
  • Report return-on-investment for advisor marketing efforts.
  • Communicate significant challenges, needs, or opportunities to the director of SigniFI and actively contribute solutions.
  • Support the director of SigniFI with prospecting and business development efforts as needed.
  • Other duties as defined.

What you need to have :

  • 6+ years of experience in the marketing industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including knowledge of AP Style.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, analytics tracking, client relationship management tools, and social media and email marketing platforms.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodology.
  • Strong proficiency in a variety of computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
