Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ultrasound Tech to join a respected healthcare facility in Alexandria, LA.

Details :

• 40 hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• 5x8 hour mid shifts

Key Responsibilities :

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations including abdomen, OB / GYN, and general sonography procedures

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning

Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort during exams

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards

Requirements : BLSAHA Required

ARRT Sonography (S) Required

ARDMS Abdomen (AB) Required

ARDMS OB / GYN Required

Preferred (in addition to required) :

ARRT Vascular Sonography (VS)

ARRT Breast Sonography (BS)

ARDMS Breast (BR)

ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)

ARDMS Adult Echocardiography (AE)
