Shift : * *6 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM* (Night Shift).* *Slip-Seating Operation : * This is a *slip-seat* operation, so you’ll be sharing a truck and assigned a *timeslot* rather than a specific route.
Flexibility is essential!* *Manual Transmission Required : * Drivers must be proficient in operating a *manual transmission*.
- Time Off : * Enjoy *12 hours* off for every day worked, with *most weekends off*, unless the plant runs a "super" shift.
- Lanes : * Routes may vary between *drop-and-hook* and *live unload*.*What You Can Expect : *Weekly Miles : * Average around *1,000 miles per week*.
- Overtime Pay : * Paid for all hours worked beyond 50 hours in a week.* *Variety in Lanes : * Handle a mixture of *drop-and-hook* and *live unload* routes.
- Requirements : *Experience : *You must hold a valid *Class A CDL* with 6 months experience after trucking school.* *Driving Record* : No moving violation suspensions exceeding *3 months* in the last *3 years*, and total suspensions / expirations must not exceed *3 months* within the past *15 months*.
- Manual Transmission Experience* : Must be able to drive a manual transmission.* *Local Candidate* : Must live within *50 miles* of *Louisville, KY*.
