• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Hours Per Week : 55 or more hours per week
• Solo Miles Pay : $0.65 per Mile with 2200 Miles per Week
• Sign On Bonus : Pays you $1250 at 30 days and $1250 at 90 days
• Paid Training
• Schedule : Monday Friday OR Sunday-Thursday
• Start Time : 8 : 00 pm - Midnight Dispatch Window

• Deliver SOLO To : VA, PA, MD, OH, CT, ME, DE, NC, SC, NJ, IN & NY (Only Long Island in NYC)
• Route : Regional Up to 3 Nights out per week
• Tractor Type : Sleeper- Refrigerators, Inverters & Microwaves in most Cabs
• Trailer Type : Dry Van & Reefer 53’
• Freight : No Touch Food From DC to Warehouses
• Endorsements : Hazmat - Preferred NOT Required- $75 per Hazmat Load
• We Reimburse Cost to Obtain Endorsements and Provide Training

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Important Note : Additional requirements may be required in different locations and / or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
