Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility.

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that equipment, machinery, and facilities are operating efficiently and safely.

This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, planning preventive maintenance schedules, and coordinating repairs to support smooth production processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in manufacturing, and experience managing maintenance programs.

Job Type : Full Time (45-50hrs / week), On-Site

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Supervisor

• Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to maintain optimal performance of manufacturing equipment.
• Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure timely availability for repairs and replacements.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, conducting regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services as needed.
• Provide input on capital improvement projects, upgrades, and equipment acquisitions to enhance operational performance.

Requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor

• Minimum 3-5 years of Maintenance and Facility Management experience
• Experienced working in a Manufacturing / Production environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CMMS software and other maintenance management tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with OSHA and other safety regulations relevant to manufacturing.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed and work in a physically demanding environment.
