The Assistant Director of Business Development is responsible for assisting the Director with the implementation of the comprehensive community relations program / marketing plan.
This position will coordinate and facilitate the referral development / sales process, obtain new business, and retain current business.
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate marketing information and account management information.
Other Responsibilities :
Managing special events on and off campus which promote Hartgrove Behavioral Health System and Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital as a progressive behavioral health system with commitment to the community;
writing and editing internal and external communications; managing community outreach activities and exhibits; writing and maintaining material for the Hospital's website.
Requirements :
Education / Training :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Nursing, or related field required; Master’s Degree in related field preferred.
Experience :
- Minimum of five to seven years of experience in a marketing position, of which at least 4 years should be in a healthcare setting.
- Three years in a supervisory position.
- Previous marketing experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
