Director of Operations - Acclaimed High-Volume Group Los Angeles CASalary : $180000 - $210000

Internationally acclaimed, high-volume restaurant group is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee their remote store locations in the U.

S. This would include 2-3 locations initially, with the expectation that this person would take on oversight of additional concepts as the company grows within current and new markets.

The ideal candidate has a proven background in multi-unit management & operations and is strong with systems and structure.

Longevity and progression are extremely important, and the team is ideally looking for someone coming from an established corporate restaurant background who can ensure that all activities are consistent with and supportive of the company’s culture and standards.

This position would be based out of Los Angeles or New York, with training in LA for the first 6-12 months. Lots of growth potential as this group is actively expanding!

Responsibilities Include :

  • Uphold operational strategies, policies, and procedures across all restaurants to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve operational goals
  • Lead and mentor restaurant managers and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain a presence in the restaurants as business dictates
  • Lead and guide management teams through new restaurant openings while overseeing all the pieces of critical path
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with local regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high-quality food and beverage offerings and exceptional guest experiences
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategies that drive profitability, enhance guest satisfaction, and maintain high standards of quality
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure seamless operations and cost-effective procurement
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
  • Consistently work to ensure that all activities are consistent with and supportive of the company’s culture and brand standards

Candidate Requirements :

  • 5-6+ years of progressive, high-volume, full-service restaurant management experience with at least 2-3 years of experience in a multi-unit role (Regional or Area Director, Director of Operations, Multi-Unit General Manager (GM), or comparable role)
  • High-volume experience overseeing at least $10 MIL in revenue is required
  • Established background in structured environments and standard operating procedures is required
  • Large scale corporate restaurant experience highly preferred
  • Experience managing in multi-state markets highly preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a consistently high-volume environment
  • Strategic background with a passion for hospitality and the ability to oversee multiple direct reports
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, train, and inspire a diverse workforce
  • Excellent financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
  • Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Desire and willingness to work side by side with teams in the restaurants and within corporate
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, health and safety standards, and compliance requirements
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to travel out of state within the U.S. as needed
  • Ability to train in Los Angeles for the first 6-12 months

Compensation Package Includes :
