Salary starting at $55,000 per year, plus bonus opportunities!

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone interested in understanding insurance operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

You will work closely with the product manager / director to analyze processes, support data-driven decision-making, and contribute to improving our insurance products and services.

Some duties include learning core systems, attending meetings, handling support tickets, and reporting bugs. The ideal candidate for this role has excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities include :

Assist Product Manager in gathering and documenting business requirements for new products, system enhancements, and system defects

Assist developers in finding answers to their business questions

Provide solutions to business problems

Participate in cross-functional team meetings and provide active feedback

Assist with support questions

Collaborate with IT teams to develop and test systems used by business

Turn complex concepts into simple language

Continually learn about insurance and the base technologies we use

Job requirements :

Associate’s Degree or two years of applicable experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Basic understanding of data analysis tools such as SQL (preferred but not required)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Possess and display a willingness to improve skills and techniques

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Azure DevOps experience (preferred but not required)
