Our client is a leading supplier ofroofing siding and windows is currently seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to jointheir team.
This role is vital in building a book of businessthrough prospecting and nurturing strong relationships withcontractors the companys target market.
Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for leveraging salesreports and data to identify opportunities making cold calls andmanaging both existing and new customer accounts.
As the businessgrows the focus will shift from heavy prospecting to managing aportfolio of accounts. This role is essential for ensuring customersatisfaction and driving revenue growth.
JobResponsibilities
- Prospect new clients and build a book of businessgradually shifting to account management as the portfoliogrows.
- Cultivate and manage longterm customerrelationships.
- Analyze sales reports andcustomer data to identify sales opportunities.
- Cold call prospective customers and follow up on salesleads.
- Schedule appointments and meet withpotential clients to present products and services.
- Address customer concerns and provide tailoredsolutions.
- Train customers and their teams onvarious product lines.
- Assist with the creditapplication process and support customers in financialtransactions.
- Ensure timely payments byfollowing up on past due accounts when necessary.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in outside sales ideallywithin building materials (lumber windows sidingroofing).
- Familiarity with product lines andthe building contractor process is a plus.
- Valid drivers license reliable transportation and abilityto pass MVR checks.
- Strong communication andinterpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanorand appearance.
- Superior time management andorganizational abilities.
Compensation
- Base salary of $5065k pluscommissions.
- Ontarget earnings for top salesprofessionals can exceed $200k.
