The newly created Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit is part of SAP Product Engineering.
YOUR FUTURE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager within the Security Engineering group in the Technology & Engineering unit of the newly formed Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations team.
In this role, you will support multiple development teams and be responsible for promoting and supporting agile methodologies.
You will remove impediments at the team-level and in scaled agile frameworks. You will coordinate and collaborate with other teams within Sovereign Cloud, ensuring success and guiding the teams in their backlog execution against security requirements.
You will facilitate all agile events and coach teams and stakeholders in Agile methodologies. You will be responsible for the visibility of team commitments and progress through metrics and action plans.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage through ambiguities while being innovative and collaborative
- Strong communication in English, including profound presentation and facilitation skills
- Proven ability to lead successful projects and work cross-organizationally
- Ability to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience leading geographically dispersed engineering projects
- Proven track record in end-to-end implementation initiatives
- Experience in an agile environment is preferred
- Knowledge of Cloud computing and cloud infrastructure fundamentals is a plus
