Senior Accountant

SR. ACCOUNTANTS in the Triad area - Let Vaco serve as your advocate in presenting you to one of our top clients who are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant!

Our client is looking for a very dynamic accounting professional to join their team in the role of Sr. Accountant. An ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in accounting - CPA license a plus .

This individual will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the financial reporting, working closely with other departments to maintain strong internal controls and provide valuable financial insights.

Some Responsibilities include :

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and maintain the general ledger,ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, including Journal Entries.
• Perform account reconciliationson a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Perform financial analysis to identify variances and trends and produce variance reports for leadership review.
• Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process,adhering to established deadlines and procedures.
• Work with 3

party tax consultants and auditors to provide necessary financial documentation. Ideal Candidate :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required ,CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with GL accounting,account reconciliations,and JE.
• Financial analysis and data analysis experience.
• Critical thinker, very detailed professional.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
