Location : Hybrid - Vienna, VA

Work Authorization : US Citizens, Green Card Holders, TN Visa, Green Card EADs.

1 requirement : must have 3+ yrs ServiceNow experience

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized IT Analyst to join our team. As an Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, defining, and documenting technical information for data, workflow, logical processes, input and output, interface with other processes or systems and internal and external controls regarding business usage of current-state IT systems.

Duties :

1. Participate in the development and evaluation of IT roadmaps and work plans for operational efficiency and effectiveness

2. Perform qualitative and quantitative system analysis using analytical techniques, tools, models, simulation, etc.

3. Participate in complex interdepartmental initiatives of resiliency and reliability initiatives to increase systems’ availability and reduce risk or impact

4. Obtain quantitative and qualitative data of business processes to analyze, determine and promote data driven decisions

5. Implement new / enhanced products, services and / or operational changes

6. Prepare / collaborate on presentations, reports, white papers, etc.

7. Interpret results of analysis; present recommendations, alternatives and implications

8. Establish or analyze processes and workflows

9. Develop or generate reports from ServiceNow tool, and utilize performance measurements and indicators to identify areas for improvement;

develop process improvement plans for each performance indicator or area identified

10. Conduct work sessions with technical teams; assure quality, consistent performance; meet schedules and / or resolve technical and complex problems

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze processes and workflows to understand value chain, input / output, to improve and / or automate business performance.
  • Participate in an Application Rationalization discussions with architects and business stakeholders around current-state use of IT applications, with an eye towards modernization, consolidation, or elimination of obsolete technology.
  • Collaborate with various departments to create compelling presentation materials for technical and business pitches, executive meetings, and other important events and summits
  • Conduct business stakeholder discussions for project artifact approvals
  • Assist in leading elicitation discussions around current-state applications, by interviewing business stakeholders at the right level of detail and scope to represent all the stakeholders needs.
  • Organize and manage a large volume of documents and data using spreadsheets, word documents, PowerPoint, and other organizational tools
  • Identify and document key business requirements relating to current-state and future-state needs.
  • Design templates and create graphics that visually enhance the content of presentations and documents
  • Document, manage, and follow up on critical action items as a result of business and technical conversations.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on effective presentation techniques and web portals, SharePoint, and software tools
  • Continuously seek to improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work with minimum supervision
  • Ensure that all materials adhere to brand guidelines and standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills :

1.) Self-sufficiency, in the sense they are able to work independently without much supervision.

2.) The ability to read workflows and roadmaps and decipher potential issues and resolutions.

3.) Reports : Reports are the biggest thing we work on / with. Anyone who is sent in should be comfortable designing their own and finding information within tables when prompted.

4.) ServiceNow Experience is REQUIRED

  • Strong proficiency in ServiceNow, PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant software tools
  • Proven ability to create visually engaging presentations and documents
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Some background with Financial Services, including awareness of the basic operations and business capabilities of a credit union or bank, and relevant industry standards.
  • Experience with creating business process documentation, preferably using BPMN 2.
  • Experience with requirements elicitation techniques and working with senior business stakeholders.
