About this team

The Internal and External Communications team leads all employee and executive communications, analyst relations, and public relations activities for Cloud Software Group's corporate functions and business units.

About the role

As Corporate Communications Manager for Cloud Software Group, you'll be primarily responsible for driving cross-functional alignment for the employee and executive communications team-helping ensure that employees everywhere understand the company's strategy, know how to get things done, and feel motivated because they know and understand how their work contributes to fulfilling the goals of our many business units.

Day-to-day, alongside other members of the Internal and External Communications team and the Revenue Enablement teams for the Citrix and TIBCO Business Units, you'll collaborate with colleagues to develop communications strategies and tactical plans, and create content with urgency for our global communication channels.

Job description / responsibilities :

• Manage a global cross-functional corporate editorial calendar covering all internal and external corporate communications activities
• Plan, edit, write, and design clear and compelling content for a variety of internal communications channels.
• Support production and delivery of our channels, including our intranet, global newsletter, functional and company-wide all hands, and other live and / or streamed events.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior leaders - especially in our global go-to-market, sales, channel, and revenue enablement functions - explaining communication processes and techniques to them in a consultative, approachable manner.
• Develop and project manage communication plans for key internal campaigns.
• Storyboard and translate raw ideas into presentations and videos.
• Engage employees on internal social platforms as well as other channels.
• Respond to feedback from leaders and employees, as well as measure effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
• Make recommendations to improve our communications channels, processes, and content to better inform, connect, and inspire employees

Basic qualifications

• 3+ years in communications, public relations, journalism, and / or marketing
• 3+ years of experience working in a global, fast-paced, technically complex environment
• Note : A writing and design portfolio or presentation may be requested as part of the interview process

Preferred qualifications

• Can deliver clear and compelling content in many forms-written, visual, verbal, video, etc.-and in both peer-to-peer and executive voice
• Extensive organizational and time management skills-must be able to multitask throughout the workday
• Ability to learn about technical subjects and produce communications that are easily consumed by non-technical users.
• Strong digital communication and presentation skills
• Experience with all Google Workspace apps
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and InDesign
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and effective listening skills
• Not frightened by complexity or ambiguity
• Ready to join a fun, valuable, distributed team
