Merchandise Planner / Analyst
Tracking Code 16503-687 Job Description The Merchandise Planner / Analyst is responsible for planning, forecasting and analyzing for budgets, metrics and stock levels related to the Merchandise Division, for properties as assigned.
In addition, the Merchandise Planner will place product reorders for select products as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional duties may be assigned. Management retains the discretion to change or add to the duties of this position at any time.
- Calculates and manages Open to Buy for assigned properties on an ongoing basis
- Evaluates retail product business related metrics on an ongoing basis, providing key recommendations and data to the retail buying group.
- Investigates product movement and inventory movement related data to ensure effective product flow
- Analyzes sales by category, store, property, etc, to identify trends and actions to support driving the business, making recommendations as appropriate
- Enters order data and executes data cleanup to support buyers as needed
- Performs general business analytics functions as requested by buyers and PSC Revenue Leadership
- Supports property floor set activities on occasion
- Performs job duties of other similar level departmental roles on occasion, when necessary
- All other duties as assigned

Required Experience EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree in related field of study preferred
- Theme park or multi-unit retail planning and / or buying experience, or equivalent experience preferred
- Work history that illustrates successful ability to teach, train, influence, and coach others with positive result
- Proven experience in successfully managing large scale retail product mix and retail product development
- Proven experience successfully troubleshooting retail business plans and results
- Experience with Retail Inventory software is a plus
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must have and maintain a Driver's License
