Senior Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the design and development of backend systems for their ML cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI

Architect APIs and backend services with a focus on error handling and best practices

Oversee database schema design and optimization using PostgreSQL and manage integrations with cloud warehouses

Required Qualifications

6+ years of backend development experience with advanced proficiency in Python and FastAPI

Extensive experience in PostgreSQL database management and schema design

Advanced expertise with SQLAlchemy and SQLModel

Deep understanding of task queuing systems like Celery

Proven leadership in CI / CD pipeline design and testing strategies
