Department Overview
The Radiology department provides a complete range of sedated and nonsedated diagnostic imaging procedures for major and minor pediatric surgery, disease, or injury.
Twenty-four hour consultation services as well as education and outreach programs are available.
Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist provides health care services using X-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques producing images for interpretation by and at the request of a licensed practitioner.
Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
This role pays $38 per hour.
Education / Certification :
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- Completion of an accredited radiology program or equivalent experience, required.
- ARRT certification as a radiologic technologist, required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, required.
