How You Can Join Us

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our Team immediately for a position as a skilled DevOps Engineer (Intermediate) with TS / SCI Clearance .

Roles and Responsibilities :

• A DevOps engineer introduces processes, tools, and methodologies to balance needs throughout the software development life cycle, from coding and deployment, to maintenance and updates.
• Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security, availability and integrity of the Database Management System (DBMS).
• Directs the monitoring, administrating, and implementing performance on database systems as well as database performance optimization, developing / changing database indices, redesigning database structure and reloading data into a database
• Ensures efficient delivery of software engineering capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes
• Builds new Microsoft SQL Server Instances within on-premise architecture collaborating with other teams (Storage, Domain, Systems) to implement industry best practices.
• Mitigates risks, controls costs and schedule variance, and effectively manages large scale, integrated software projects
• Possesses knowledge of the associated hardware, software, and equipment
• Requires a proficiency in the use of one or more web technologies

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

Education :

Associate’s Degree (computer science, engineering, or related discipline) with 7 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree (computer science, engineering, or related discipline) with 5 years of experienc

Qualifications :

• Experience with MSSQL Server 2012, 2017 and newer.
• Experience identifying and resolving database problems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Service Manager.
• Self-motivated, Highly organized indiv
• dual with ability to proactively identify problems, meet deadlines, work with various application managers, prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Familiarity with SolarWinds DPA.
• Effective in communication skills.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.

Clearance Level : TS / SCI

Required Certification(s) :

• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II / 8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract :
• Security+ or equivalent
• Required Computing Environment certification :
• SQL Server Management Studio
• SQL Server Enterprise 2022
