Registered Behavior Technician - PartTime

We are looking for enthusiasticindividuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a BehaviorTechnician, you will have the opportunity to make a real differencein the lives of children with autism.

In thisrole, you will work one-on-one with children, implementingindividualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of aBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will useevidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and dailyliving skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate abouthelping children with autism reach their full potential. You willneed to be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a teamenvironment.

We will provide comprehensive training so that you areequipped and empowered to help each child, even if you don’tcurrently have experience.

Children can be unpredictable andpotentially confrontational, so this role is not for the weak ofspirit, mind, or body. Part of the joy of working with kids isexercise! Our clients move, so you need to be comfortable standing,walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching,squatting, lifting, and at times carrying children or objects thatweigh up to 50 pounds.

Pay Range : $20 -$23

Requirements :

• Passionate about helping children withautism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able towork well in a team.
• 18+ years ofage
• High school diploma orGED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First AidCertification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in thelast year)
• Ability to pass a preemployment background check
• Ability to move invarious positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior TechnicianCertification after completing onboarding
