What you will do The Senior Manager, Value Chain Optimization is responsible for driving overall efficiency and improvement of the E2E supply chain.
For managing production flow, inventory levels, cost control, improving quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with business policies and procedures.
You will also track key performance metrics, recommend revisions to standard operating procedures, and manage large scale strategic programs to support our long-term strategy & goals.
This role will also manage a center of excellence for trade customization. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize the value chain in alignment with the Senior Manager, Value Chain Optimization role
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address inefficiencies in the value chain
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals to ensure successful execution of value chain optimization initiatives
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve value chain optimization efforts
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the value chain process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective transfer of products into the manufacturing process
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials, work-in-progress and finished goods to meet demand and overall cash flow targets of the company
- Analyze and report on manufacturing cost control, cost estimates, capacity planning, manpower and facility requirements
- Track and report on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Communicate and enforce business objectives, policies and procedures to the department
- Revise and update standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with business objectives What we are looking for Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of related experience in value chain optimization or a similar role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills Desired Qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully implementing value chain optimization strategies
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies to optimize manufacturing operations
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to identify and address inefficiencies in the value chain
- Ability to analyze and report on manufacturing cost control, cost estimates, capacity planning, manpower and facility requirements
- Knowledge of quality control requirements and processes
- Ability to revise and update standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with business objectives What's in it for you
