Summary :
Serve in the role as Hospital Trauma Program Manager.Duties include general administration in planning, coordinating,maintaining and updating assigned plans.
Provides necessary projectmanagement and support for all Trauma-Committee agenda items asneeded or instructed.

Innovative equipment and procedures areutilized, including an Outpatient Imaging Center, orthopedic andsurgical services, rehabilitation, a renovated birthing center,including 24 / 7 neonatal coverage, emergency care, woundcare / hyperbaric center, 3D mammography, and comprehensive heartcare, from diagnostics to open-heart surgery.
Requirements : Education / Skills

BSN required; MSNpreferred.
Experience
Minimum of two (2) required years ofemergency / critical care nursing preferred.
Licenses, Registrations, orCertifications
- CurrentTexas registered nurse license required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support AmericanHeart Assoc) required
- Current ACLS (AdvancedCardiac Life Support) preferred, or within 30 days ofhire
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced LifeSupport) preferred, or within 30 days ofhire
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Course Certified) orATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) isrequired
- TOPIC (Trauma Outcomes PerformanceImprovement Class) is required within one year ofhire
- AAAM (Association for the Advancement ofAutomotive Medicine) is required within one year ofhire
