OTR Van Driver - Class A

$7500 Sign on Bonus Available

Clean Harbors Carson, CA location is looking for an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team! Our Class A Drivers are responsible for running a route from Carson, CA to Aragonite, UT, running 2600-2800 miles a week .

This position requires traveling away from home 12-14 days at a time; compensation includes hourly wages and CPM.

Average annual driver salary : $110K.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles;
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units;
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste / non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads;
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements / regulations;
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel away from home 12-14 days at a time;
• Class A CDL Required;
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements Required;
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience Required.
