Manhattan’s phenomenal dental office, Dentistry By Design, is currently seeking a full-time, long-term, bright and shiny dental assistant to join our team! In addition to providing outstanding dental care and patient experience to our family of patients, we strive to create a positive work atmosphere of cooperation through team-building and leadership.

Responsibilities :

• Preparing patients for dental work.
• Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
• Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary.
• Providing great patient care.
• Recording treatment information in patient records.

Qualifications :

• Candidates must have a positive outlook, a stable personal life, a genuine caring attitude towards others, and be able to work hard with a commitment to always going the extra mile for our patients or team members.
• A minimum 2-3 years of experience preferred
• Certification in the use of nitrous oxide, and certification in coronal scaling will have preference although we are willing to train the right person.
