ConMet - Canton, NC location is looking to fill a Maintenance Mechanic position to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of injection molding / assembly mechanical equipment and systems.

This is a 12 Hour Night shift Position. What You Will Do :

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of injection molding / assembly mechanical equipment and systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Analyze equipment performance and make necessary adjustments or repairs
• Fabricate and install mechanical components as needed
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Perform required preventative maintenance duties according to prepared procedures
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and meet deadlines
• Observe and comply with all company rules and regulations including the NFPA 70E Arc Flash PPE and procedures What You Need to be Successful :
• Minimum 2 years of college and / or trade school
• Minimum 4 years of related job experience, with emphasis on equipment maintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and installations
• Familiarity with high-voltage and low-voltage systems
• Experience in field service or industrial electrician roles is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and operation
• Good working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
