Description
POSITIONSUMMARY Provides administrative supportto the Manager of Nursing Recruitment and Integration. Responsibilities include reaching out to candidates, scheduling ofinterviews and peer interviews, tracking position controls,completing position requisitions, creating regular recruitment,retention reports, and coordinating administrative meetings;
recording and tracking of meeting assignments for recruitmentpurposes. Provides all general office management functionsincluding filing, copying, faxing, reception, draftingcorrespondence, maintenance of supplies.
Works closely and incollaboration with HR Talent Acquisition Team in schedulinginterviews, job offer communication as needed and coordinator ofall onboarding and transfers within the nursing division.
Requirements
EDUCATION : High school diploma or equivalent. At leastone year post-high school secretarial / computer training or twoyears secretarial experience in a hospital or clinic settingrequired.
CERTIFICATION / LICENSES : None required.
SKILLS :
- Knowledge of medical terminologypreferred
- Must be proficient in all MicrosoftOffice Suite applications (e-mail, Scheduler, Excel, PowerPoint,and Word) at intermediate to advanced level
- Well versed in Human Resources and hospital policies andprocedures
- Ability to work independently withminimal instruction; highly effective organizational, decisionmaking and problem solving skills;
effective communication andexcellent customer relations skills, competence in secretarial,phone etiquette, spelling and grammar
- Abilityto read, write, and communicate verbally in Englishrequired
- Bilingual in Spanishpreferred
EXPERIENCE : 5 yearsoffice or administrative support experience required.

Works in clean, well-lighted,ventilated, smoke-free environment. Patient contact whileperforming duties on units. Subject to stressful professionalrelationships.
VDT exposure. Working hours are varied,with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule andemergencies.
PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS : Ability to sit and work for longperiods of time at a computer terminal using sound ergonomicprinciples.
Extensive use of hands for writing and use ofcomputer. Additionally, duties require ability to regularlystand, walk, stoop and reach.
Moderate physical effort (ableto lift / carry up to 15 lbs.)
