Retail Sales Associate :

Job Description

As a Retail Sales Associate for Moida, your main responsibility will be to assist customers on the sales floor, merchandise products on the shelves, and tendering payment for customers at the register station.

Retail Sales Associates play a vital role in the overall customer service of the store. The duties of a Retail Sales Associate may change at any time, with or without cause, due to the nature of the business.

Communication will be delivered by the Retail Operations team.

Job Responsibilities

• Serving customers on the sales floor
• Merchandising product on shelving and displays
• Tendering payment on the POS or handheld POS devices. Bagging customer orders neatly and gift wrapping upon customer requests.
• Keeping the store and work areas clean by proper cleaning during closing. Dusting shelf areas during closing procedures to ensure a clean visual presentation for the store.
• Ensuring all required job tasks are completed in a timely manner and products are available for purchase.
• Ensuring compliance by being knowledgeable of products throughout the store.
• Helping alleviate potential theft by delivering amazing customer service and maintaining awareness of your surroundings while on the sales floor.
• Working with the management staff on promotional events, social media posting (with management approval), and visual merchandising.
• Working with the Assistant Manager and Store Manager on overall visual presentation of the store.

What We Are Looking For

• 1 year of retail experience, preferably in the beauty industry
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Has strong communication skills and the ability to foster a customer focused culture
• This position requires the ability to stand, bend and lift 50 pounds of merchandise for a scheduled shift.
• Must be 18 or older
• Must possess valid US citizenship or legal authorization for employment in the US

Rate of pay - The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00 / Hour. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
