What You'll Do

Your role is a blend of practical cleaning duties, teamwork, and moments of connection.

Care for Our Residents

Create comfort : Ensure every resident enjoys a safe, clean, and clutter-free living space.

Respond with care : Adjust rooms or assist with personal items upon request, always with kindness and respect.

Promote safety : Keep walkways and floors clear to support resident mobility.

Keep Our Community Beautiful

Tidy shared spaces : From hallways to common rooms, ensure every area is guest-ready.

Support mealtimes : Partner with dietary staff to maintain a spotless dining area-set tables, clean chairs, and assist with post-meal cleanup.

Be the Welcoming Committee

Impress visitors : Keep guest areas immaculate and stocked with refreshments like coffee, snacks, or light treats.

Represent our values : Help create a positive first impression for families and friends.

Team Collaboration

Work with leadership : Coordinate with the Assisted Living Director or Assistant Director on special cleaning projects or urgent needs.

Report issues : Monitor supply levels, report hazards, and flag maintenance needs promptly.

Schedule

Flexible full-time or part-time positions.

Every-other-weekend rotation.

Holidays as scheduled.

Skills You'll Use Every Day

Attention to detail : For cleanliness, safety, and presentation.

Communication : Interacting with residents, coworkers, and guests.

Empathy : Understanding residents' unique needs and preferences.

Adaptability : Handling different tasks and priorities as they arise.

Physical & Sensory Requirements

Regular bending, stooping, squatting, mopping, and sweeping.

Lifting / carrying up to 35 lbs occasionally, 15 lbs frequently.

Pushing / pulling cleaning carts or equipment.

Using vision, hearing, and smell to maintain safety and quality.

Working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.

Wearing PPE when handling cleaning chemicals or infection control procedures.
