Your role as a Production Laborer

As a new Production Laborer at Barrett Petfood, you can expect a welcoming and engaging environment where teamwork is paramount. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include operating machinery, assembling product ingredients, and ensuring that production lines run smoothly. You will be actively involved in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, as these are vital to our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Add palletant (dry & liquid) to finished product
  • Add color dies to product
  • Move finished totes to warehouse and packaging departments using a forklift
  • Record and print off labels
  • Setup and calibrate pumps for each run
  • Use Forklift to get supplies
  • Follow GMP's and safety protocols
  • Operate a floor scrubber
  • Sweep, mop and sanitize throughout the facility
  • Clean totes

You'll collaborate with experienced team members who will provide support and guidance as you learn the ropes. Your expected schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 10 : 00 PM to 6 : 30 AM, allowing you to enjoy your mornings while contributing to a high-performance team in the evening. This shift offers a great work-life balance while giving you the chance to engage with passionate individuals dedicated to delivering exceptional pet food products.
