Commercial Litigation Attorney
A law firm in Portland, OR, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in drafting state and federal court pleadings and handling discovery-related matters.

Duties :
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for state and federal court cases.
- Manage and oversee discovery processes, including the review and production of documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare detailed reports and memoranda.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes in a timely manner.
- Maintain case files and ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff as needed.
Requirements :
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Significant experience in drafting state and federal court pleadings.
- Extensive experience handling discovery-related matters.
- Strong academic or professional credentials.
- Active membership in the Oregon State Bar; Washington State Bar membership is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
- Admission to the Oregon State Bar is required.
- Washington State Bar membership is preferred but not required.
