Customers Service Representative Job Description :

Dutch Boy Cleaners is seeking dedicated Customer Service Representatives to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that clients receive top-notch service and support.

Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers, managing transactions, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all our clients.

Customers Service Representative Responsibilities :

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs for dry cleaning, laundry, or alterations.
• Explain dry cleaning processes, services, and pricing to customers.
• Check-in garments and items, tagging them correctly for identification and processing.
• Inspect items for any damages or stains and notify customers of any issues before processing.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to handle transactions, including cash, credit / debit cards, and other forms of payment.
• Provide customers with receipts, tickets for their garments, and return dates for pickup.
• Answer customer inquiries in-person and via phone or email, providing information on services, turnaround times, and garment care.
• Update customers on the status of their items as needed, including any delays or issues.
• Manage customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, ensuring a pleasant environment for customers.
• Coordinate with the back-of-house staff to ensure orders are processed and completed on time.
• Keep track of inventory and supplies, such as hangers, garment bags, and tags, and place orders when necessary.
• Promote additional services and special offers to customers.
• Follow up with customers to encourage repeat business and obtain feedback.
• Ensure confidentiality

Customers Service Representative Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in English language
• Basic computer literacy
• Customer service experience, preferably in a retail or service environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Familiarity with handling cash and processing credit card transactions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Knowledge of garment care and dry-cleaning services is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints gracefully
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace

Compensation details : 14-14 Hourly Wage
