Responsibilities

Registered Nurse Opportunity - Cardiac Unit - Day Shift 7am - 7pm

Seasonal Position

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities.

Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia.

Services provided at the hospital include emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health services.

The Registered Nurse provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.

Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.

Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.

Prefer one-year full time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting.

Current South Carolina nursing license.

BLS (or obtained during orientation). ACLS (or obtained within six months of employment), only in required specialties. PALS (or obtained within six months of employment), only in required specialties.

Successful completion of Handle With Care training during orientation.
