Job Responsibilities
- Deliver expert cardiac care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and record patient conditions, communicating effectively with the healthcare team
- Advocate for patient rights, dignity, and holistic care
- Facilitate learning for patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Engage in continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
- Lead and collaborate within interdisciplinary teams
Job Requirements
- Valid Washington State Registered Nurse License
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
- BLS and NRP certifications from American Heart Association and American Academy of Pediatrics
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 36-hour weeks
Preferred Qualifications
- National certification in cardiac nursing
- Experience with electronic health records systems
- Familiarity with progressive care unit protocols
