Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert cardiac care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and record patient conditions, communicating effectively with the healthcare team
  • Advocate for patient rights, dignity, and holistic care
  • Facilitate learning for patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Engage in continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
  • Lead and collaborate within interdisciplinary teams

Job Requirements

  • Valid Washington State Registered Nurse License
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
  • BLS and NRP certifications from American Heart Association and American Academy of Pediatrics
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 36-hour weeks

Preferred Qualifications

  • National certification in cardiac nursing
  • Experience with electronic health records systems
  • Familiarity with progressive care unit protocols
