School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - DeSoto, TX
Description : Join our school district in DeSoto, TX, as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment focused on improving the communication skills of our students.
Educational Requirements :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Texas state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address individual student needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create effective therapy plans.
- Provide therapy services and monitor student progress to achieve therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
Certifications :
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification in Speech-Language Pathology or eligible for certification
